As the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) changes its labeling rules for genetically modified foods in the new year, critics say the new move adds work for consumers and creates large loopholes for suppliers. A former Pastor with the Deeper Life Bible Church, Gideon Akande, has questioned the spirituality of the General Superintendent of the church, Pastor Wiliams Kumuyi, for inviting those he termed “Philistines” to a programme the church is organising. Governor Nyesom Wike has declared a statewide ban on the establishment of nightclubs and prostitutes on Abacha Road and other major thoroughfares.
