It’s crazy that the students’ death could become a tool to score cheap political points. Instead of channeling energy to insist on accountability of perpetrators, Segalink is cooking up stories about the First Lady. Of course, he needs attention. #JusticeforFUOYE
It’s a shame how the dead have been treated. We should demand justice on the arrest and prosecution of those involved in the death of the students and hoodlums that instigated riots that eventually claimed innocent students’ lives.
Instead, the First Lady is being defamed and vilified. Even, the SUG President denied seeing and meeting her all through and that he was unaware when she left the civic center. Yet, some students have misdirected their energy to the wrong person. The hoodlums that hijacked the late protest have returned to their sponsors whilst the men that used brutal force on students are having another nice day at work.

It’s sad! If there’s no restitution in the existing strategy by those behind this misdirected attack, it might be difficult to get justice for the dead. They don’t deserve to die in vain. Icon remains a popular figure and friend to many. The demand should be for the Police investigate and publicly prosecute those who allegedly went to town with brutal force that led to the death of the students. They should account for what transpired even later that night.
Segalink will continue to ridicule the students’ leadership and will do everything to ensure that the narrative stay within ‘the government is behind the killings’ to garner attractions and make money off it for political gains.
Sorry to those that he insulted, demonized and blocked for publishing what your SUG President and NANS South west excos released. Sad that instead of backing the call by your leaders for investigation and justice, he ridiculed and called them illiterates.
A businessman will always be a businessman. If it doesn’t make money, it doesn’t make sense! Those that have been at the end of Segalink’s hypocrisy know better. Peace!
