Nigerian poet, Adedayo Agarau, has won the renowned Wallace Stegner Fellowship, at Stanford University, United States.
This was announced via his Twitter account stating that he never imagined he would have been able to achieve the feat.
He said: “I’m delighted to announce that I’ve been awarded the prestigious Wallace Stegner Fellowship @Stanford.
