Dear Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. Greetings to you, Eku use ilu, Sir.
I want to use this medium to inform you that the Okada you banned on our expressways last year are now back in thousands on the expressways.
I was one of those who celebrated it when you announced the ban on the Keke Marwas plying for trade in Surulere, Papa and the Island.
Unfortunately, Kekes are back in those areas. The influx of the Okada coming with heavy duty trucks every day is putting security pressure on Lagos.
Your Excellency, I think you may have to up your game for the umpteenth time to mitigate indiscipline in Lagos.
We still remember Gov. Fashola today because of his zero tolerance for indiscipline. Area boys have now trebled in numbers in sharp contrast to what we had in the past.
For confirmation, please find time to pay an unscheduled visit to Ikeja’s under bridge one afternoon, and you will see more than 50-boys sleeping and smoking there, kindly visit Oshodi too, to further confirm this, Sir.
The Agberos in Lagos are now more powerful than they were before. I was going on an appointment to Surulere some weeks back, and as we were approaching Total bus stop after Fadeyi, there was a nose to tail traffic caused by a member of the NURTW, because a driver didn’t pay him, the LASTMA officials on ground there begged him to no avail untill one car owner paid him before the traffic was eased.
Kindly revisit the security issue, Sir. Some area boys need to leave Lagos because they engage in mugging, burgling and all forms of petty robbery.
Dear Governor, many people may not tell you this for the reason of throwing stones because they live in glass houses as well.
Kindly etch your name in gold.
May God give you the enablement and enterprise to succeed beyond reasonable doubt.
